How it all began

Unlike a lot of people I did not arrive at Pilates through dance or injury.

All of my life I have been active and benefited from a sense of well being, however several years ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, I lost a great deal of weight very quickly due to my over active metabolism, leaving me with overall weakness and lack of muscle tone.

Once I had the condition under control I realised I had to get my body back on track, so I decided to give Pilates a go.

It was the best thing I could have done for my body, my overall fitness returned, muscle tone increased, my posture and general alignment improved considerably and I was left with a new sense of well being.

I was taken over by the method and decided I wanted to delve in deeper to the discipline and hence I studied & trained to become a Pilates Instructor with the highly acclaimed Body Arts & Science Int. (BASI)

I am very excited to be able to pass on my passion to others and to introduce you to the benefits that Pilates brings.
